bfm.jpgDaniil Kupsin, owner of Russian business radio station Business FM, has announced that he will launch an online business news site, RIA Novosti reported on Thursday. Bfm.ru will be run by Russian Internet journalist Anton Nosik and will have a team of nearly 30 reporters.
Acceding to Nosik, the outlet's users will have the chance to customise the site to match their interests and to add or delete parts of the site depending on content they wish to view. In addition, users can adjust the setting to receive news from other online sources.

Kupsin told RIA Novosti that if he manages to obtain sufficient financial backing, he may introduce a business-oriented TV channel in the future. For the time being, however, RBK TV is the only channel entirely devoted to the sphere in Russia, according to RIA Novosti.

Obedinenaya Media, the publishing house to which the Business FM radio channel belongs, also releases a weekly newspaper called Business and Financial Markets. The publisher's creative director, Dmitriy Solopov, said that the radio station, the newspaper and the news site may launch a collective newsroom, in order to optimise the synergy across different platforms, RIA Novosti reported.

Another business-related online project, Daily Online, was recently launched in Russia.
