US: New York Times launches Visualization Lab

Users will now be able to control more data on the New York Times' website with the launch of their Visualization Lab.
The Lab allows readers to experiment with different ways of visualizing data - either stats, figures, or even words from an article, according to Journalism.co.uk.
Some examples include words from Barack Obama's acceptance speech:
