vbgoog.jpgUkrainian developers announce that they have developed the Voice Search Bar, a program that lets users look up information on Google with the help of their voice. The feature is part of Microsoft's SAPI technology and is available as an add-on to the Internet Explorer browser.
For the Voice Search Bar to work, users simply need to pronounce the required keyword and press "search", after which they will be redirected to voicesearchbar.com where their search results will appear. The program currently works only with English words but its developers say that they intend to expand it to work with other languages in the future. The technology is provided for free.

Google previously experimented with a similar system called Google Voice Search, which worked with a telephone and was only available in the US. However, it is no longer offered.
