In addition, over 200,000 articles form the last ten years have been uploaded to NMG sites.

The company has also launched a new website, www.nationafrica.com, which aggregates news from the five other NMG websites, in an effort to provide a news outlet for all of Africa.

Ian Fernandes, the managing director of National Digital Division commented about the changes: "We have created progressive portals for East Africa with up to date features and technology that is down-to-earth and sustainable at the same time. This is an essential aspect of our digital strategy, which is to have Internet sites for each of our brands and to also make some of this content available via mobile platforms."
