UK: Independent.co.uk temporarily inaccessible on Wednesday
According to The Guardian, the temporary closure may affect the ABCe (Audit Bureau of Circulation Electronic) figures for September.
Bill Swanson, Independent.co.uk's general manager, said that he wasn't sure about what caused the problem, mentioning that he wasn't "impressed" with the host, who did not provide a back up system in Amsterdam, according to the Guardian.
The site had 6.5 million unique users in May this year, 7.2 million in June and 6.6 in July.
