Australia: Fairfax Digital's Watoday.com.au exceeds expected unique users

Fairfax Digital website WAtoday.com.au, the first online only Australian newspaper, surpassed its expected number of unique users in the first month after its launch in June, reaching 341,887.
WAtoday.com.au has been competing with http://www.thewest.com.au/ and is almost as popular, according Fairfax Digital chief Jack Matthews.
WAtoday.com.au appeals to advertisers form sectors like banking, insurance and finance.
Users spent over four minutes on the site per visit.
