USAToday.com sends headlines to AIM users

Posted by Carolyn Lo on April 11, 2008 at 8:57 AM
AOL's AIM users will now be able to search current and archived headlines on USATODAY.com, as well as set up news alerts all through instant message.

If users add "USA TODAY" to their AIM Buddy Lists, they can type in key words into their IM windows and receive headlines, article summaries, and links back to the complete story when stories are published containing those key words.

The system was developed by InfiniteAgent, a provider of instant messaging and SMS logging services.
