US: New features on Chicago Tribune website improve viewing experience
Posted by Carolyn Lo on March 18, 2008 at 9:26 AM
The Chicago Tribune website has added new features to better facilitate viewers in finding related stories and improving search results.
Most articles will contain hyperlinked keywords throughout the text that will link to a topic gallery, which features related stories, photos, and historical archives. Another way to access the topic galleries is through a listing of more than 15,000 keywords found at the website. Other Tribune Co. media properties including the LA Times and Newsday in Long Island, NY will contribute to the galleries on the website.
The Tribune has also launched a beta version of its website for the Apple iPhone.
