AP broadcasting through its own YouTube channel
Posted by Kelley Vendeland on March 12, 2008 at 3:11 PM
The Associated Press has forayed onto YouTube, launching within the past month its own channel on the video sharing site. AP editors are uploading an average 250 videos per week.
The videos are a mix of edited clips and raw footage. The channel is regularly maintained, but important breaking news is reserved for AP members before being posted to YouTube, in light of recent controversy between AP and its members.
Reuters too has gotten in the game with their own YouTube channel.
