As newspapers increasingly build their online features for community sharing and user-generated photo submissions, The Bismarck Tribune has acquired Spotted, an online photo-sharing tool, from Morris DigitalWorks.
Spotted is a community-based multimedia marketing tool that enables users to upload, edit and share photos onto the newspaper site.
"We believe that Spotted will work well in connecting our print readers and online viewers by being able to publish photos from events, activities and other gatherings throughout the communities we serve," said Rod Austin, online manager for The Bismarck Tribune.
The Bismarck Tribune is a daily with a circulation of 30,000 copies, published by Lee Enterprises.
