News Group Newspapers hires Glue for digital advertising
Glue competed head-to-head with Profero in the review process, which was overseen by AAR, to get the account. NGN had previously worked with Euro RSCG 4D Digital on online advertising campaigns for the tabloids.
The review follows the appointment of Ben Hughes as head of digital marketing at NGN. He has been made responsible for leading the expansion of The Sun and News of the World across the emerging digital platform.
"It was a very tough decision but ultimately we felt that the chemistry with Glue was spot on and we are delighted to have them on board," Hughes said.
