Sport Media Group, which was created following the acquisition of Sports Newspapers by Interactive World in September reported that turnover is up 24% to £11.3m this year and that mobile related turnovers hit a record high of £7.7m up from £6.8m.
"Our existing mobile and internet businesses have continued to perform well and are now benefiting from cross-selling opportunities following the acquisition of Sport Newspapers,” said Simon Hume-Kendall, chairman of Sport Media.

Hume-Kendall goes on to say, "further new offerings, particularly in the area of user generated content, are being evaluated and the possibility of a joint venture or acquisition of IP in this area is being considered."

Editorial changes have been well received and the reformatting of the newspapers has now been completed under new editorial consultant James Brown.
