France: Paris Match doctors picture of Sarkozy to lean his silhouette

L'Express revealed that a picture of French President Nicolas Sarkozy, taken during his vacation in the US and published in the weekly Paris Match, had been doctored to diminish his love handles.
Paris Match is part of the group Lagardère Active. According to l'Express, Paris Match argued that Sarkozy's "position on the boat exagerrated this protrusion." This seemingly banal information reignites the debate about Sarkozy's relationship with Arnaud Lagardère and the latter's potential influence on his papers' editorial choices.
