UK: free paper on your mobile

Posted by John Burke on October 4, 2006 at 4:35 PM

London's morning financial freesheet, City AM, is launching a mobile service in the evenings. The 'mobizine' dubbed City M will provide briefs on breaking news, sports, lifestyle and the Capitalist Diary Column, each section containing five headlines. An edition costs a mere 5 pence. City AM managing director, Lawson Muncaster, commented, "We provide City AM readers news every morning, and now, with the launch of City M, readers can get the latest news every evening on their way home in a fast, accessible way, direct to their phones."
