US: Lawrence.com wins Web design award
Lawrence.com, the innovative arts and culture Web site serving the Lawrence, Kan. community, was named one of the best-designed sites in the U.S. Friday.
The World Company-owned site won an EPpy from Editor & Publisher and Mediaweek for ¨Best Overall Design of an Internet Service under 1 million unique monthly visitors,¨ according to LJWorld.com. The award marks the second design honor the site has received this year, the first being Edgie Awards from the Newspaper Association of America’s New Media Federation handed out in February.
