Two newspapers were named Monday as the 'World's Best Designed' by the Society of News Design.
Canadian photographer Finbarr O'Reilly has won 2005's World Press Photo for the photograph shown above, taken in an emergency feeding centre in Niger.

The Associated Press is protesting the 'misleading inclusion' of one of its photographs in a pamphlet showing images offensive to Islam. The picture (see above) was taken at a small French village fair during a pig squealing contest. A black and white image of the same picture (you can see it
