A report published yesterday by Forrester Research predicts that over a third of adults in the US – 125 million people –  will own a tablet device by 2016. Ad Age explains that, in this rapidly expanding market, Apple is the leader by a very wide margin.

The Columbia Journalism Review gives its readers some food for thought as we prepare to celebrate International Women’s Day tomorrow. The CJR has published an article suggesting that newsrooms at major magazines are still heavily male dominated. 

paidContent reports that Cosmopolitan now has 100,000 paid digital subscribers. The magazine’s owner Hearst claims to have sold over half a million digital subscriptions across its titles.
