The Dead Sea Scrolls
are going to be digitalized and put online, according to the Washington Post. "The Israel Antiquities Authority and Google announced Tuesday that they are collaborating to produce digitized images of the entire collection of the Dead Sea Scrolls and put them on the Internet, making the archaeological treasure available to anyone with the click of a mouse," reports the article.

Randy Michaels, the Tribune Co.'s chief executive will resign and leave by the end of the week, states Editor and Publisher. "He will be replaced by a four-member office of the president that the sources said would comprise Eddy Hartenstein, president and publisher of the Los Angeles Times; Tony Hunter, president and publisher of the Chicago Tribune Media Group; Nils Larsen, Tribune Co.'s chief investment officer; and Don Liebentritt, chief restructuring officer," adds the E&P staff.

The Portland Press Herald has shut down the comments section because of "vicious postings," states Poynter. The change will affect PressHerald.com plus the Kennebec Journal and Waterville Morning Sentinel Web sites.
