Dallas Morning News lauches 47 hyperlocal websites

Editor & Publisher is reporting that the Dallas Morning News has launched a set of community websites. The sites cover 47 neighborhoods and each one will cover subjects such as hyperlocal news, real estate information, restaurants and gas prices.

The content is generated through Dallas Morning News and from a user-generated content site, neighborsgo.com.

Many newspapers and their websites have been focusing more on local content. Last week, entrepreneur Joshua Karp started The Printed Blog, a twice-daily free printed newspaper which will publish hyperlocal content from blogs online.
