US: LinkedIn now in 41 languages

LinkedIn, a business networking website, launched editions in 41 languages due to user demand. The move is designed to offer more support to the 40% of its audience based outside of English-speaking countries.

According to Kevin Eyres, LinkedIn European managing director, there are 31 million members and one new member joins every second, thus it is critical to provide the service in other languages as the site continues to grow.

Eyres also noted that they have "completely re-architected the site and have many more new features coming out that will make the site more responsive from a user standpoint."
