US: Green Valley News suspends Friday print edition

Arizona newspaper, Green Valley News and Sun will no longer print a Friday edition beginning November. According to the paper's website the decision was made in order to meet the financial challenges they face without having to make staff reductions. Friday's content will be moved to Sunday and Wednesday editions.

In addition the paper has begun surveying readers about what they want to see in the paper. GVN also plans on updating and improving their website.

GVN website stated, "We believe that enhancing our product and better serving our readers who love their printed paper and our ever-changing Web site is better than chasing a non-reader."
