US: 5 network giants take steps toward national online ad network

Five of the nation's top newspaper companies are in the early stages of creating a national online advertising network. By doing so Garnnett Co., Tribune Co., Hearst Corp., Media News Group, and Cox Newspapers hope to bring back ad revenue that they have been losing from their print products.
This partnership would create a team of sales people that would focus only on selling for newspaper sites and therefore would give national advertisers a single contact within the industry, rather than them making contact with each individual newspaper. The members of this partnership would each own a portion of a separate company that would employ salespeople and the revenue would be split.
This partnership would both overlap and compete with another ad network, which was set up by Yahoo Inc. last year and would comprise 7 of the 10 U.S. markets. The network would hope to grow by involving other companies, for example the Washington Post Co. "The more the better," said Leon Levitt, vice president of digital media at Cox.
Many newspaper companies have felt that same “more the better” sentiment lately. Companies have discussed options such as joint call centers, printing centers, and delivery systems.
The Yahoo Inc. partnership picked up on this partnership with their ad network made up of 19 different newspaper chains. “The online giant formed the group last year to bolster its HotJobs job-placement Web site. It also created opportunities to share content and cross-sell ads, creating a national ad network,” reports Michael Oneal of the Chicago Tribune. This partnership includes Hearst Corp., Media News, and Cox Newspapers. Garnnett and Tribune did not go in on the deal because they co-own CareerBuilder.com, a rival to HotJobs.

Luzhou Medical college is a 3A ranking in china. Only those hospitals which has the highest ranking have 3A. The Director of respiratory disease is now conducting a research on allergy DNA vaccine. This is one of the example depicting the standard of Medical education our college provides. These kind of distressing comments have come from a student who has never passed any examination (both internal & final) till the day of his admission into this college. The same student has been caught many a times cheating during the examination. Whatever he has quoted is out of his sheer frustration at academic level & inability to face the exam. We are not trying to defend any institution. We are an integral part of it & we know what is the standard here. We are fully aware that many of the students have come through bank loans. There is no cheating on the part of the medical college. If the college authourities are trying to make some money, they would never award heavy scholarships every semester end. You have top come here to see the infrastructure & the facilities provided to our students. Here we are practising the MCI syllabus & for that we need indian faculty. We here have to work under respective departments in colaboration with are fellow chinese teachers. We dont have to give any justification as we are very transparent in our duties here. We also request other students to post their reactions.

What I want ask you is - really?...Is it true? I self sumetimes wonder about all ths chinese education stuff. Whether it any good or just bogus. If it true then it is horrible. We should unite against and fight these authorities. also $500 is lot of money. I too wanted to study in foren country (it was not medical) but did not have money. We the student of luzhou medical college is requested to all the visitors of this site, that there is no such things like:-
• College cheating about academic
• Expensive electric bill, which can not be affordable, and the very point is that the hostel charge is not so high comparing to any other country .Suppose at India apart from the government medical college no such private college can give accommodation of room only for 23000 Rs per year.
• They are giving a high space to each and every student. If we are talking about facilities then starts from room, they are giving ac, single bed, attached bathroom, tv, internet connection. We are getting the broadband connection for 24 hours(100 mbs) just for 20 yuan( around 110 Rs)
• And there is no such thing like Mr.P Mohan Rao has taken money to pass the students. The student passed here only by their ability.
• And SARASWATIONLINE has not cheated with us about any aspect-not by faculties, not by facilities
• We are getting the high facilities at aspect of education comparing with the higf profile medical college of India or china.
• As an Indian student I can say that the fees we are giving to the college are same for every student
• May be we are paying little bit more than Chinese student but the thing is like we are getting much more facilities than them every corner,
• Those guys who are dare to rise their finger against LUZHOU MEDICAL COLLEGE can judge by themselves with all the points with any medical college of India or Nepal
• We are having exams very soon, and we don’t have time to give any weight age to such base less accusation.

i am one of the student who is studying in luzhou medical college.i want to say one thing to the readers.whatever the student had written against our college is absolutely rubbish.Any one can realize it if they will enquire about our college through WHO or Chinese MCI or any related official organizations.Our colleges infrastructure is far far better than the cheap private medical colleges in india which demands 50 lakhs from students(from manipal to lowest colleges).Our infrastructure is comparable to the cream medical colleges in India.And our teachers are the creams of the teaching class.Whatever the student had written against one of our teacher is absolutely due to personal revenge.So i have a request to dear readers.Dont believe this rubbish alligations.

hi.. readers.. this is sanjeet, a student of luzhou medical college.. i have not much to say.. just in simple words i can say we r safe out here, all the things r going on well and fine. so i m using this method as aplatform to in form all the parents whose students r here and who r willing to send their students out here for studing.. i tell them that who ever is out here r all happy and r free from nonsence.. the college has a good reputation in the whole china.. so not much more to say its the best for the indian students.. as we r folowing the MCI syllybus.. and the teachers r all fine including the chinese and the international teachers.. thanks for reading this..
What ever college u guys are talking abt in china…its pathetic to note that u cant even communicate in english adequately…let alone in chinese! its sad to note that you are studying medicine in chinese when you cant even speak or write proper english…i would advice you to improve your english especially if you are planning to work in india or any other country as most of the books are in english…if you are planning to practise in china …i have nothing more to say!
