SanomaWSOY terminates print version of Taloussanomat

On Tuesday, Finnish media group SanomaWSOY announced that the print version of Taloussanomat would no longer be published, effective at the end of this year.
"Taloussanomat has great opportunities in the internet. We will transfer our resources to the place where the future of financial publishing lies. This is an important strategic decision," said in the statement Mikael Pentikäinen, the chief executive of Sanomat, SanomaWSOY's newspaper division.
The company does not foresee job cuts as a result of this decision.
