Gannett Co. and Tribune Co. are joining forces to publish and syndicate a special and international weekly edition of USA Today, outside of the US.

USA Today publisher Gannett will produce the eight-page broadsheet, dubbed USA Today Abroad. Most of the articles will be feature stories taken from the daily paper’s content.

Tribune will take care of syndicating the paper to publishers abroad, who will distribute the edition along with their newspapers.

The first issue of USA Today Abroad will be delivered Thursday in Israel, Armenia, Mexico, Argentina and Ecuador.
