US: press to return to White House West Wing

The press corps will soon be returning to its traditional West Wing newsroom, after 10 months of renovation. Could the new surroundings promote better coverage?
Main changes include new seats, a high-tech briefing podium, a concrete floor and additional air conditioning. The press room should be inaugurated on July 11 by President Bush.
Washington reporters have occupied the West Wing ever since 1902.
