£10 million re-launch increases Times Online’s users by 1 million
After re-launching its site in March, the Times Online registered close to 1 million additional unique users in April. This translates to an increase of about 11%, moving from 8 million to 8.9 million unique users.
The Guardian, leading the UK’s news websites, grew by only 0.1 million in April, moving from 15.1 million to 15.2 million, according to ABC electronic figures. The Sun Online registered 8.2 million unique users and the Telegraph.co.uk registered 7.4 million, giving the Times Online the second spot.
As for page impressions, the Guardian decreased by about 2 million to 145 million, the Times Online increased by about 1 million to 59 million, the Sun Online had 153 million and the Telegraph.co.uk had about 69 million for the month of April.
