Yemen: editor jailed for printing Mohammed cartoons

Editor of weekly newspaper Al-Rai Al-Aam Kamal Al-Olufi will spend one year in jail for having printed an image of the website of Danish Jylland Posten, where some of the famous Mohammed cartoons were visible. The paper has been ordered to stop publication for six months.
Al-Olufi was also ordered to pay for the publication of the sentence in Yemen newspapers, and he will not be allowed to write for the next six months.
The editor declared he had published the cartoons in order to raise awareness and did not mean to insult the Mulsim’s prophet.
The publishing of the Mohammed cartoons supposedly violates Article 103 of the 1990 Yemen Press and Publications Law.

Did the NYTimes break out the percetange of people paying for Times Select specifically vs. the percentage of people who are already NYTimes paper subscribers and thus don't have to pay? I would imagine that, since the cost of Times Select to paper subscribers is nil, that they could easily fill those 270,000 sign-ups with just current paper subscribers.

Here is the approximate breakdown (source : paidcontent.com) :
- 135 000 paying subscribers : around 20,000 at $ 39,95, 15,000 come from News Tracker, the rest at 49.95/year (80%) or $7.95 a month (20%)
- 135 000 are print suscribers that signed to get the service FOR FREE.
So revenue around : $ 5 millions/year. Profit ? TBD
