Paid Content reports that the American Knight Foundation is prepared to grant up to $25 million to online community news ventures in the next five years, with the first $5 million to be dispensed in the first year. The Knight Brothers 21st Century News Challenge is accepting applications on its website from “individuals, organizations or businesses that can show their ideas will transform community life.” The deadline is December 1st of this year.
