Denmark: newspaper threatened with bomb attack

Denmark's largest paper, Jyllands Posten, which published political cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed that have incited an uproar in the Muslim world, received a bomb threat late yesterday afternoon. Two of the daily's offices were evacuated. The paper's editor-in-chief, Carsten Juste said, "It is an attack on the freedom of the press and against one of democracy's most important prerequisites, the free word."
