UK: Independent enjoys strong revenue growth in 2005

Independent News and Media expects to report revenue growth of over 7.5% and double digit earnings for 2005. Adiitionally, the group has experienced a year on year increase in advertising and expects to announce a 3% growth in circulation for 2005.

CEO of the group Sir Anthony O'Reilly has expressed his confidence about the coming year, he said: "Independent is unique among global newspaper and media companies - showing positive underlying growth in both advertising and circulation revenues - and is projecting a clear vision of and a commitment to its future as a multimedia and online producer."
