Chicago Tribune columnist stops column for blog
According to Cyberjournalist, Chicago Tribune columnist Eric Zorn has stopped writing his Saturday column so he can devote more time to his blog. Zorn says writing and posting entries to the Web takes longer than he thought it would -- two or three hours most days. "It's also been more difficult than I'd expected to create a quick flow of copy from me to the editors and then to the readers in a way that takes full advantage of the immediacy of the online world while preserving the quality-control mechanisms of print journalism."
